Hi there! I’m Tim Davies. I provide leadership coaching for senior executives, CEOs and MDs in London, the Midlands and UK-wide. My coaching programmes are tailored to my clients’ specific business, leadership development, or career advancement goals.
Drawing from a rich and diverse business career spanning multiple senior roles including Non-Executive Director, CEO, MD, and department head, I bring a wealth of commercial experience and common sense to the table. My approach is collaborative and informal, and I’ll do my best to ensure my coachees and myself have fun on our shared journey – always with the aim of tangible results.
My career has taken me through start-ups, large corporations, venture capital and private equity-backed enterprises, privately-owned firms, employee-owned businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. I’ve also navigated the intricacies of Mergers and Acquisitions, building and realising value for stakeholders before, during, and after the sale and/or purchase process.
I have coached executives with all levels of experience, from seasoned leaders to newly appointed senior executives and first-time CEOs. I’ve had the privilege of working with business owners across a wide spectrum of industries, including publishing, PR, music, journalism, legal, distribution, agency, and B2B services. tailoring my approach to address their specific needs in management style, goal achievement, and learning and development. I hold an ILM Level 7 Certificate for Senior Level Executive Coaches and Mentors from Oxford Brookes University Business School. I’m a member of the EMCC and Trusted Coach Directory. I abide by the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches, Mentors, and Supervisors and I receive regular Coaching Supervision. I’m Professional Indemnity insured.
Beyond my paid coaching work, I’m proud and honoured to be a pro bono mentor for the Independent Publishers Guild Mentor Scheme. Here, I provide guidance and support to budding entrepreneurs and new department heads within the IPG community, aiding in the development of their businesses and careers.
