Starting a new C-suite role is both exciting and daunting for a new hire

They’ll be expected to swiftly familiarise themselves with, or set the strategic direction of the company, manage diverse stakeholders, and make high-stakes decisions; all the while leading a team and maintaining their company’s vision.

Transitioning to and excelling in their new role will require a shift in mindset as they build confidence and hone a leadership style that empowers and optimises their teams, and aligns with that vision.

Their new company may have a well-established culture and highly experienced staff; they’ll quickly need to prove their competence while satisfying all stakeholders.

They’ll face the challenge of finding their leadership voice, while balancing the expectations of their teams, board members, and investors.

My coaching for new hires

I help new C-suite hires build influence, navigate organisational complexities, and master the soft skills necessary for impactful leadership.

I work with them to develop and hone their interpersonal skills, enabling them to inspire, motivate, and lead their team with confidence, plan and manage change, and make prompt, informed and effective decisions with clarity and focus.

Most importantly, achieving success shouldn’t come at the expense of well-being. I help new hires find the right balance between their professional and personal life.

How it works

My coaching programmes for new hires typically comprise six sessions of sixty to ninety minutes each, spread over the initial three months of their tenure.

Many of my clients subsequently choose to extend that initial programme, thereby providing ongoing and extended support for their new hires as they consolidate and grow in their new role.

I also support new hires through any early challenges or setbacks they may face, such as episodes of Imposter Syndrome, helping them build the confidence and resilience to emerge stronger and more determined.
